Not only……but also

 Q. 1. Rewrite the following sentences using ‘Not only……but also’.

      (1) The baby appeared inert and lifeless.
(2) He was tired and weak with hunger.
(3) Their teamwork and perseverance were impressive.  
(4) Swami is a loving and a tender kid.
(5) He accepted with his unsteady hand and began taking hesitant bites.
(6) I gathered a stout stick in one hand and hurled a piece of stone at marauding langur.
(7) My father provided first aid to clean the wounds and stopped the bleeding.
(8) The mother descended on the floor of the coop and picked up the baby in her arms.
(9) I turned away from the coop and looked up.
(10) It makes it easier to set parameters and works towards the goal.
